About the product

  • This frame is specially designed by Biocare for the FM 801 and perfectly matches the display. The cutouts in the upper housing match the display's dimensions, ensuring no obstruction to the display during operation, providing enhanced protection. The upper housing also features a row of five buttons, each with a pattern representing a different function: the first button is the menu key, which selects different functions; the second button is the left and right key, which selects pages up, down, or left; the third button is the mode selection button; the fourth button is the volume button; and the last button is the print button.

    This assembly includes more than just the upper housing; it also includes the bottom cover, which is secured with four screws. The bottom cover also features heat dissipation holes to effectively dissipate heat from the display during operation, minimizing overheating and extending the display's lifespan.

Q1: The protective glass of the standard housing assembly is cracked, but the display panel is functioning normally. Do I need to replace the entire housing?

A1: No complete replacement is required; the protective glass component can be replaced separately.

Q2: Liquid is leaking from the housing interface, causing the panel to occasionally go black. What should I do?

A2: You need to replace the deteriorated seal and investigate the leak source. First, power off the device, remove the rear housing screws, and separate the rear housing from the panel. Remove the old seal. During installation, apply a thin layer of medical vaseline to the gasket to enhance the seal. After reassembly, perform a water test (using a spray bottle to simulate rainwater on the interface). Power on the device and observe for 30 minutes to confirm that there is no black screen.

Q3: After replacing the display panel, there is a gap (approximately 1mm) between the housing and the panel. Will this affect performance?

A3: This will affect the protective performance and display stability. Adjust the mounting bracket to eliminate the gap.​
