► Brief Introduction
This keypad assembly containing multiple buttons.This function keys control plus 5 hard keys: Power, GraPHiliphhilip Go/Stop, NBP Go/Stop, Zero All, and Silence Alarm/Admit.
The following keys are on the monitor’s control panel:
| Power | Press once to turn the monitor on and off. |
| GraPHiliphhilip Go/Stop | Press once to print patient data or an information window. Press again to stop the print job. |
| NBP Go/Stop | Press once to start one noninvasive blood pressure measurement. Press again to stop the measurement. |
| Zero All | Press once to zero all invasive pressures lines which are open to the atmosPHiliphhilipere. |
| Silence Alarm/Admit | Press Silence Alarm/Admit to quickly admit a patient to the monitor when the monitor is in the discharged state. |
Power:
Press the Power key to begin the normal operating mode. Normal mode provides all functional capabilities of the monitor, including vital signs monitoring, network communication and battery charging. During the power-up sequence, a splash screen displays and the control panel and alarm light indicators illuminate. After approximately 20 seconds, the Main Menu displays.
NBP:
Automatic non-invasive blood pressure monitoring uses the oscillometric measurement method. The oscillometric method uses a sensitive transducer which measures cuff pressure and minute pressure oscillations within the cuff to determine the mean pressure and calculate the systolic and diastolic pressures. A parameter window display updates every second. There is no waveform.
► Replace Keypad Assembly
- Remove the rubber knob from the Trim Knob control shaft.
- Use an 11mm wrench or nut driver to attach the nut that secures the pin knob control shaft to the display bezel
- Open the display assembly.
- Follow the steps below to remove the keyboard assembly from the front bezel.
- Disconnect the keyboard cable from the keyboard PCB by gently squeezing the latch release and pulling upwards.
- Remove the five screws that secure the keyboard assembly to the front bezel.
- Lift the mounting plate.
- Place the new keypad assembly in the bezel of the monitor.
- Replace ground strap if needed.
- Reattach the keypad cable.
- Secure the new keypad with the screws.
- Make sure the washer tab is installed in the retaining slot of the trim pin control shaft and reinstall the 11mm nut.
- Fixed trim buttons to reassemble display components in reverse order

- Input specifications
- Probe type: YSI Series 400 or 700 (determined by input cable); Temperature range: 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F);
- Resolution: ± 0.1°C
- Output specifications
- Parameters displayed: T1, T2; Accuracy: (independent of source) ± 0.1°C for YSI series 400 probes; ± 0.3°C for YSI series 700 probes;
- Alarms: User-selectable upper and lower limits for T1, T2
